Deker 3,491
I'm being jerked about all over the place trying to get Tikka T3 Hunter in .243 at the moment, during my search this has just cropped up...$558 in the States, and you will be very lucky to get one at the same £ in the UK.....then Mr Beretta (Tikka) has the cheek to ship most production to the States and we are simply the poor relation and get anything that may be left over. It always seems to be the same with guns...the world production heads towards America where they sell them at half the price we get charged, just don't get it! lgray88 4
so how do you go about it taking a gun over from the states , isnt it a piece of piss gettin on in he states surely sticking it in a box wouldnt be too much of a hassle liam Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
it's easy to get the rifle into the UK, but the US has strict export laws meaning that by the time the paperwork is done the rifle costs as much as it does here. And since the rifles tend to go: Manufacturer ---> USA ----> UK, that explains the price I guess... Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
why not get in contact straight from the manufacturer ? isnt that possible , do you know the paperwork neededm surely it cant amount to that costs? liam Quote Link to post
