Bona 0 Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Well what happens iff the holes deeper & the ferret slips down it The holes are never that big, i know im only 17 but i been doing it since i was a nipper an never lost one. squirrels will use woodpecker holes which arn't that big. They can climb quite well in tight spaces Squirrels arn't as bad as people make out, they do fight back but always bolt. how can you be sure, that the hole contains a squirrel, and not some protected species? andy s410c 63 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Andy is there many greys up there now?You used to get them in Middlesborough,but I never saw one in Sunderland,and only saw reds in weardale and durham Had a couple on the shoot but i don,t really bother to target them if one crosses me path i,ll do me best to get it.Plenty around in the N/E seen some in Washington none in Mowbray/Backhouse park tho... The one 8,592 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Loads of the little feckers here, there's a drey as big as a car over a road at work and i keep waiting for it to fall down but apart from some of the young getting run over nothing seem's to happen to it . Phoned a mate in Pennywell last night,mentioned this,his harris hawk caught a grey in Fatfield,so yeah,your right,they are spreading Quote Link to post
