Nice we got another Aussie on here!, If ya going to hunt with him give him some rabbit. They also like chicken, day old chicks are good. But definatly the bunnies, are good

just give them meat, meat, & more meat u carn't go wrong

give them dried food occasionally so if your meat supply dries up your ferrets are comfortable with the alternative

Feed em meat, cat biscuits/tins, if your lazy you can use them prota pack cat/dog meat at the supermarket or I mince up liver, kidneys, fat and meat whenever we shoot a goat or roo then freeze portions into sandwich bags and leave in freezer. They always have a bowl of cat biscuits in the cage though.

same as Hairybull, i feed Iams Kitten biscuits, as its decent and for $20 for a small bag it lasts months when you feed rabbit as well

Give them plenty meat whilst there young it sets them up for the rest of there lives ,dont feed liver more than twice a week it causes a vitiman deficiency D i think

wilddog, go on google and look up ferreting under the search only australia

 

you should find a few of the ferreting societies in australia, there is a western australia one, south australia and melbourne one which have some very good info on them.

 

feed good quality ferret/kitten food not cheap crap you can get in the supermarkets
