well......... having found my old relumsport 822 over the weekend.......and had a play with that, a few more runs to the tip, and then................whats this, bloody hell is it my stash of porn??.No its better than that......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plus 2 specials.........history of the air weapon ( and other things) and airguns on test(30 guns of the day tested)

 

the issue from august 1977 came with 4 free targets...........and there still inside!!!!!

 

 

bloody hell how things have changed.............a brand new BSA airsporter for £44.95 and you get free Nikko 4 x 20 scope (worth £8.25) 500 free pellets ( worth 66p....yes!!! 66p)....bargain or what !!!!!!!!

 

and you could subscribe to air gun workd for a year for £5.40 post paid and receive 100 free targets!!

 

all in mint condition aswell!!!!

 

what a cracking read they are....................so many memories ( i know all you young uns are thinking get a life you sad old git !!!!!!!)

Nice find Sean, you can have a wallow in nostalgia, it's harmless!! I used to have Airgun world too, but they have all gone apart from a couple of the "specials" they published like "Airguns on test".

i know...................but 66p for pellets back then was a lot ..............at the time i was getting £2.50 a week for my paper round...............6 mornings a week 6.00 am to 7.30am.
