I soon came to the conclusion that ye likely best off with the whole 'Tribal', bold black work. Stuff lasting on me is red and green. Black writing? Twenty odd years down the line and ye can barely make it out, even if ye remember what it's supposed to have said. I have 'Classical' ('Bold') work here where the wording, after thirty odd years, is a mess. But the greens and reds are as tight and vibrant as the day they were done. This deep, wide, defined stuff? Should look reasonable for twenty years? Not bad. How do ye think You'll look in a couple of decades, eh? And, for the price; What else can ye hope to buy these days that'll last ye that long? Makes me laugh. My old Great Aunt had a fair few tatt's. One was obviously of some females head and shoulders, with some sort of shape around and above her head. When I was old enough, but young enough to ask her about it, I did. " Oh, that? " She said. " That was (so and so). She was a great Music Hall star of her time. My tattooist has just started a website 'Artistic tattooing.com' (i'm crap at putting links up!) some decent work on there.
