runforyourlife 361
Hi does anybody know of anything that can stop adog from chewing in the bac garden where it lives. It is chewing all the wires on the wall etc. I heard there was a spray, is this true, and if so does anybody know the name or where i could purchase some please? Quote Link to post
lurchergrrl 1,441
Anything you put on would wash off in the rain ... but you could try some really hot spices. Bit harsh but it'll do the trick. Or, wrap some aluminium foil over the wires, most of them don't like chewing foil. I've also used a medium tack double sided tape in the past - unpleasant for them, but stops them Or, you could hide out, wait for the dog to start chewing, and then correct the behaviour. That might take a while tho Quote Link to post

BIRD Thanks Bird, i guess it is boredom, yet she gets walked on average, 3 to 5 miles aday, plus has another lurcher in the yard to play with. She does have bones and i have just got her some sqeeky toys. I get the feeling that the other lurcher might be bossing her, and she doesnt like it..... Quote Link to post

Thanks, but i would never let my dog, or any of my dogs wonder around the house,(only in the conservatory on there bean bags, after a good days hunting) they dont even want to come in side as they have never been aloud. In my opionion a dogs place is outside in its run or on the moors on the run... I include a picture of one of my dog runs...... Quote Link to post
