HW97 Laser dot

Hi all, just wondering what laser system you would use with a HW97. any advice/experiances? looking for something cheaper rather than expensive!

i personally wouldnt bother. You cant see the dot in sunlight and if you use them lamping, unless you have a really good one, the dot is too big at any range. They are a swine to zero and i also think rabbits get spooked by the dot. They are also very prone to being knocked off zero in the gunbag. Some people like them, but i dont.

 

if you have money to spend get yourself a laser rangefinder, about the best thing you can do to improve your shooting is know your ranges. A rangefinder not only tells you the exact range but also teaches you to judge ranges by yourself.

I agree with Tyla. Also the recoil of the springer will effect the zero of the laser, the jolt sending it out a bit each time. If you want to go down the laser rangefinder route you'll be better off, either that or upgrade your scope to the same cash value as you're prepared to spend on the laser.

 

Lasers are fine with PCP's but a gimmick, IMO.

The laser has just arrived very powerful!! I have mounted it and will attempt to zero it later! I know they are gimmics but they are alot of fun 2 use! hahahaha

Mounted one on my S16s used it about twice & then forgot about it, you can't beat a good lamp!!

Just an update. The laser is amazingly powerful and looks awsome but... Unable to zero it due to horrible build quality!! So what I have learned is, If your gonna get a laser its prob worth spending the extra cash and buying a more established make and model.

 

But I have found a use for it looks great on my co2 beretta!!
