Holdaway 2
The funnel is made from nails pointed in at an angle. The circles are two lead rings I made and the nails are driven through the under side one and trapped by the top one. H Quote Link to post

Holdaway 2
how do you kill them once inside? i'd take em straight to my last customer that still owes me a days wage........lol there ya go girls n boys, yer new home......... LOL. Guilty of letting them go at the moment. As you can see it is set by a wood pile, so wood mice is all i'm getting, and unless the same ones keep coming back, I have had 14 separate mice, (most was five at once). If I wanted to kill them I could use harsh language or sing to them! I would remove the restraining wires and tip into bucket, they could then be dealt with quickly and humanely...by posting them to my ex via special delivery... H Quote Link to post

Portsmouth gun centre is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays mate, and when I called today they didn't have the seals However, a quick call to logun and two seals on their way today. Hhhmmm, human hair as a nest... bloody barbers was shut all day! Tomorrow... Steve at forge offers 14 guage 1" galv mesh at £58 for an 8X4. That would make 6 traps and leave two sections of 9" X 23", another two and you have a collapsible... Also - MOST important, I get to use his bender for free, this thing is huge and would bend a tank barrel! He is also making me my adjustable tealer maker (not sure if I mentioned that...) daunker 0
I used to have a trap like this. Went by the name of maltese mouse trap. Worked very well. It had an funnel in the top of just wire going down about 2 inches which stopped mice getting back out. Is this one the same? I lent my trap a long time ago, and never got it back. Now I fancy making one up myself. ----------------- Here's a good link if you are looking for Shotguns for sale in the UK. Edited August 1, 2011 by daunker Quote Link to post
