They played in the back of his place like pups , when the fox got older it used to wander , it would be away for weeks at a time , and no matter how long it was away the lurcher never botherd it .. salclalin 240 Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 Had a pet one years ago.It was about 3 days old when i had it.It was reared by a russell bitch owned by Red Dog who had a litter of the same age. He became tame enough for me and Red Dog to feed him by hand. If a person came into the garden he didn't know he would hide under his kennel until they left.At about 8 months old some scumbag tried to nick him and he got out of his run and escaped. They let all the school kids go on days out etc and they have a big dog fox as a pet, they bring it out on a lead and let the kiddies get their pics taken....
