Halfinch 51
Was riding home on my motorbike today, and of course it starts pissing down. nothing new there. What was different was i stopped at a pub about 3 miles from home to have a beer and a dry out, Well got talking to a couple of the locals (as you do) and turns out just about everyone around the area is having problems with rabbits. So to cut a long story short, i ended up with 2 definate permissions, one was from the dad of a friend of mine, only a couple of acres but lots of bunnies, the other was from a friend of his, who runs a quarry and the land extends over 100 acres apparently plauged by rabbits. On top of that the lanlord said he would talk to a few of the other locals, as" They are always moaning about the bloody rabbits around here" I'd say the moral of this story is, if your looking for permission forget the farms, go to the farmers pubs!!! The worst that can happen is you'll get no permission, but how bad is that when youv'e got a few beers to drown your sorrows.
