Couple of hours after work

Had a quick look out with the Ferrets, Saluki and Saluki/Lurcher after work.

 

I was working a hedgeline with couple longnets and a gatenet across the hedgeline, the dogs did well taken most the rabbits at holes entrances. Did'nt have a single dig so all in all a great little outing, hopefully I'll get back out tomorrow and continue down the the rest of the hedge.

I prefer to just run the dogs and the ferrets (no nets) aswell, in this case only 3 of the 13 hit the nets, the rest didn't make it that far. Nothing beats seeing the dogs listening to the rabbits moving below ground then position themselve and taken the rabbit as it pop like a cork straight into their waiting mouths, I just wish I could remember to take the photos when it happens. I stand there like a numpty watching everything happen with the camera in my hands to taken with the momment to use the camera.

 

I was hoping to get out again tonight after work to continue my way along the hedge but could'nt get away from work in time, fingers crossed for tomorrow evening and Saturday afternoon.
