nrat 8
hi,what do you look for in a game fair??? trade stands, area events, terrier lurcher events, perhaps your into gundogs or falconry, fishing or ferreting maybe??? what is the secret of a good game fair??perhaps you just count the cost or how long you que to get in??,as a trader i need to look at the cost of putting a stall there, distance travelled, number of customers we will get??,yet a finacially good show is not neccisarally my idea of a good game fair, old favourites like the welsh game fair and the midland the fenland fair is always good when we trade well and meet lots of intersting people, have a good chat look at the dogs etc,a few beers a bit of a laugh and a piss take, but what does it for you??? a chance to air your views never know perhaps some of the show organisers are online,to all customers old and new heres to a good season cheers jim

heart of wales 19
As one of the organisers of the Heart Of Wales Game and Country Fair I appreciate greatly a thread like this because of the knowledge we can gain from both traders and most importantly show goers. Our game fair was started because of the Hunting ban and our desire to help our local hunt promote themselves, have gone to game fairs for longer than I can remember I have tried to use what experiences I have had good and bad in designing ours. Such as ringside parking plenty of toilets good drinking facilities for dogs and people keeping prices to a realistic level. The entertainment must always be kept fresh and to the point,we are probably the only game fair that has a rabbit hunting pack after the show on Sat hunting through the show fields and gorse bank, accounted for Nine last year, thank you Nick Valentine. Please keep the feedback coming we will always strive to improve ( if possible and realistic ) www.penmaenauevents.co.uk

abley 0
I'd agree with most of what has already been said. just want to say i like to see terrier racing, and the lurchers coursing. makes a change from people walking their dogs around a ring
Timid Toad 18
well we always aim to plz lol and do the terrier racing and lurcher racing and courcing at the heart of wales shows only problem we tend to get is low entry numbers cant really understand that as there are sooo many people out ther that say their dogs are the fastest or most accurate but when it comes to entering there are no sign of them lol

MR TEA POT 1,287
Some where to leave one's girlfriend while i have a quiet stroll round talk about moan " thats to expensive, you will never use that" . Good places to get food thats decent in taste and price i mean £4.00 for a cardboard cheese burger,it takes the p1ss. Lots of toilets that are clean and have paper in them, and i don't mean the sun or the sport . AND FOR PEOPLE WHO TAKE DOGS THAT DECIDE TO HAVE A CRAP, CLEAN THE SHITE UP :censored:IT TAKES 2 SECONDS TO DO IT AND PUT IT IN A BIN.I DON'T THINK A YEAR AS GONE BY WHERE I HAVE NOT STOOD IN THE STUFF,NOT TO MENTION THE KIDS WHO PLAY AND THEN LAND IN IT.
