BlueCoyote 0
last night i walked outsid onto the porch with my husband for a few minutes and our cat joined us... i decided it was cold to stay out there so i went back inside to go to bed... in the space of time it took to change clothes and begin to brush my teeth(three or four minutes i guess) my husband comes back in and tells me to "Stop that and come here!" ... as i get to the front door i can see the cat is eating something... a BIG something i thought maybe he caught a baby wild rabbit.. then upon looking closer this is what it turned out to be yep i had to take pictures to show this off. i'm proud of my cat he's always been a tough guy even as a kitten. even managed to kill a full grown chicken when he was still young. fortunately that was a one time thing and he learned from it.... the terrier wasnt far away from us but missed this intruder, but she was on a cable so not much she could have done anyway! the cat apparently left the porch after i went back inside then came back with his kill. i wonder if this is what was breaking eggs and only eating part of them? and now i'm thinking there may be more of them since this one is obviously a healthy female... er... WAS a healthy female.

lurchergrrl 1,441
Excellent! All of my cats have been effective at pest control. Unfortunately, they've also been effective at song bird control
BlueCoyote 0
yeah he's a good one for it. always has been and to think he was destined for the gas chamber at the local shelter because some dumb ass let their cats have kittens.. i would have rewarded him for this but he was already in the process of rewarding himself lol

Missie 1
Clever cat! I do like cats, I just can't have them all the while my greyhound bitch is around. She's a handy excuse when my daughter mentions having a rabbit/hamster/guinea pig etc though...
BlueCoyote 0
i see 2 bits of vermin in your pics that your terrier should have sorted cats i cant stand the dirty feckers to each his own i guess. so far the cat has proven to be worth more than the terrier so i think i'll keep him around
