to late in year to ferret?

ok so i just passed my army training finally ,so im home for 2 and a half weeks and ready for some ferreting.i got some over christmas and had some good trips so far.im thinking of going out now tomorow,but ive been made aware that at certain time of the year (out of season or somthing?) its just pointless as you have to dig them up because of the babies.just wondering if ill have the same sort of trips as over christmas??or if its true-that ill be digging up 9 out of 10?Thanks guys

Im sure you'll get a few more digs, but that aint a bad thing, half the fun is the digging, we have had a few longer waits, and more likely than not, the ferts have killed a few babies underground, and moved on, one of magwitch's on a trip, even came trotting out of a hole with one in its mouth, Id say go for it, but just watch the time, and maybe finish earlier than usual

now you past your training are the shipping you to iraq my freinds lads are over there two of them and brothers as for ferretin just go out but expect babies and a bit of f*****g about , with ferrets as they get there shagging head on unless you keep them in yarak or hungry a bit , all the best to you
