jasper65 6
Funny thing is I could have told him where the villa was as it was under a badger sett that I kept my eye on My plan was to get Tony Robinson and Time Team in and then have them all done for badger digging that just killed me.... Guest craftycarper
i did have some remains in my loft in the late seventies, used to go on holiday to me mates caravan in reculver, kent. On the cliff edge was a church dating back to saxon times. One morning we took a walk along the beach and low and behold there was bits of skeletons scattered all over the place where the cliff collapsed. I sneaked some home but the old girl found em a few years later....was not too pleased with me

Some kids were walking across the beach, and spotted a pair of legs dangling from a cliff face! I don't think they took any bits home though.........
jasper65 6
i been thinking of getting one from ebey, what type of money am i looking at for a good one , and any ideas on what make ????/ This is a nice site Tallyho! I've been reading up on a few makes for a while now but one that seems to stand out for depth is the Minelab Explorer SE, some seem a bit complicated and way over the top! although a discriminator sounds like a handy tool..... Jasper http://www.joanallen.co.uk/ad_uk.html?p=me...ad2&s=ga_01 don't be fooled, the explorer is just as complicated...wanna great little switch on and go machine, then it has to be a Laser, or terosoro machine, great at picking up small items as well like gold stators etc...it ain't always about depth...ask the wife.... Jasper http://www.joanallen.co.uk/ad_uk.html?p=me...ad2&s=ga_01 Excellent hobby for the summer months, be aware you will have lots of dissapointments though, discriminator type around the 150-200 mark will save you digging for shrapnel, the novelty wears off after the first few outings though if like me you got the attention span of a goldfish, first few times you believe you are going to find a horde of roman coins or del boys watch, then it becomes a bit of a let down... buy a second hand one of ebay..... lots of people get bored and sell them on.. Good luck, let us know how you get on ...

J Darcy 5,871
From experience....if your going to get one, get a decent one. The cheaper models are not very good at all.
