My Mums dog, Rusty. Irish setter X Golden retriever. Looks just like a retriever, only a lot bigger and a deep red in colour. I had him out for a walk on Friday, he's never done any sort of work just sort of runs around like a blue arsed fly when he's off the lead. I showed him a rabbit hole, and he just started to mark. I was astounded! I mean the dog had never been shown a rabbit hole, and there he was, sticking his big head down the holes up to his shoulders. He got to one bury, stuck his head down a hole, and all of a sudden his tail straightened out and he pulled his head back out and started to dig furiously. My thoughts were it must be the setter in him, but having no experience with them, I could be wrong!

Ballybricken 1
haha my mate has just got a westiexstaffordshire bull terrier which to me is neither use nor ornament and i can't see why anyone would put the 2 breed together in the first place. I asked why the cross .. her reply was it was cute. On the other hand I could see the setter cross being a handy dog. Lab cross pat is a bit unsual sure they weren't pulling your pisser and it wasn't just a leggy Patt?

bullsmilk 2
I HAD A SHAR PEI/BOXERXSTAFF WIERD LOOKING FECKER SHE WAS
Ossie 11
friend of mine has an irish water spaniel/shar pei x pyreneean (sp?) mountain dog. looks like a shaggy black retriever, but her skin is all loose from the shar pei (when she was a pup you could get hold of a handful & pull up 6 inches before her feet left the floor!), she also has the shar pei black tongue, she has extra dewclaws from the mountain dog, and webbed feet from the water spaniel. daft hippies paid 250 for her. they bred her with my mates standard poodle, then took her to the pub & let a staffie get to her as well. all the pups looked completely different. they kept one, which looks like a big shar pei x staffie... bad move. it's really unpredicatable, too much fighting dog in it & it knows that's what it's built for, they have 13 month old baby & another on the way, it started catching muntjacs & EATING THEM. their solution? they're thinking about getting it spayed. i think they should get it spaded...
