Concrete removal of a spade?

Recommended Posts

Well, a few months back I left my bulldog spade round a mates, went to collect it a few days later and his dad had been mixing concrete with it :wallbash::wallbash:

It has been sitting in my shed since, does anyone know how I can get the concrete removed off it?

Hope you can help,

bang it on the ground a couple of times then just use it, the grit and texture of the soil will get it off

i used to just put dry ballast in a mixer to clean that out and leave it running, always worked a treat

Give it a bang with a fecking big hammer! If that fails, a bill for a new spade. Either that, of take it to someone that does grit blasting. He'll only charge you a few quid if he does it while he does something else.
