working out percentages?

Dam - 3/8 bull - 5/8 grey Sire - full grey

I don't think it really works like that does it???? I always thought that you could know what went into the breeding but exact % is just nonsense. Genes aren't distributed evenly are they? Surely not?

8/8 make a full 1 same as 4 1/4 and 2 1/2 ,pup would be 3/16 bull mate,you have put 1 full back in so you 1/2 the 3/8, good luck with them.

realy dont want to get into this not really alot of info there lad you would have to get excaly what dam an sire are 3/8 bull 5/8 grey is not the full make up of the dam so has to b other type ther as well going on what you have there i would just say 1/4 3/4 grey hound

Thats 18.75 percent Bull, the rest greyhound seeing as you want percentages.

 

 

 

Most apprecaite that a mixed mating like this can vary how the pups will throw, although with these odds, i would say racy .....so have you done the mating and was this what you expected from the litter????.........I hope so as its a bit late otherwise !

Thanks....' thats all I needed to know...............There was never a mention of me breeding this type........I already own one.

 

I was just sick of explaining the breeding to folk when getting asked how one of my bitches was made up...............now I have a simplified version...
