Im same pal since stated new job ak spend less time in dales on nights the nets ain’t been off shed wall for a while, only the quick set for a few ferreting jobs, need make a point or doing a bit, keep my hand in haha

In my opinion the cheapest 4z 4" net is all you need , very capable of catching in number ( with the right amount of running kill ) if they are there. I have a couple of ancient 50yrd 4z nets here made with sheet netting from Advanced netting which have caught plenty. We ( smithie and I ) went down the thermal route and it spoiled the whole experience...

How come the thermal spoiled it mate ? Would of thought it would of made it easier and easier on land were your not supposed to be ? Ta
