Had a look out yesterday cover is still a nightmare good few frosts needed, so the bigger Warren's are a waste of time, we managed 5, lost a few due to the cover but that's how it goes, glad to have the lurcher back after breaking a toe, all in all nice to be out

We don't have huge amounts here just pockets of them but enough to keep us ticking over

I did ,a few wet summers and mixi came back and they’ve disappeared.. no other pressure on them .

That's f****r when we get those wet summers, last year was the same we struggled as they'd had a real shite year, they seem to have done a bit better this year with the dry spring/summer.

Nettles are still red hot and I’m still seeing young rabbits no bigger than 1/4 grown. Yet to venture out myself but I’m getting itchy feet

Yeah the nettles are still crazy in places I'm just trying to do the easy spots first, saw a few 1/4 grown ones running about on one of my places today......tbf I've dug to youngsters in December before they never seem to stop now with the mild winters

Maybe get a strimmer......alot of my jobs we go in with the strimmer and hedge cutters and sometimes chainsaw....that first bit you did....just cut channels threw it to drop your nets on
