Is it truly ethical to hunt for sport when so many species face habitat loss and population decline? Should hunters consider their impact on ecosystems before taking aim, or is the thrill of the hunt enough justification? You will find, if you bother to look, that hunters are the biggest wildlife conservationists. Not because they are preserving wildlife to hunt, it's because they have a genuine interest in the welfare of animals, unlike the dickheads that have probably never seen a wild rabbit or bothered getting out into the bush to view the reality of this planet. Anyway, this is a thread about animal health and welfare not a soap box for your crap .

I can't remember the reason for it. All pups need worming, so must do. Round worm usually.

I wouldn't say that was bad, but you could do better. I mean why does the dog need gravy, other than a treat? Sliced and diced is a winner
mitre 399 Posted yesterday at 20:45 Report Share Posted yesterday at 20:45 Maybe sirloin steak would be a good treat

I always worm the bitch couple weeks before she's lined and then I worm pups with panacur once they old enough and once pups stop feeding I worm bitch again,I don't bother to flea my dogs or pups unless I really need to,no fleas no treatment. mushroom 14,213
Whenever I've had a bitch in pup there was always food down. Some might disagree but for me, she eats and gets as fat as she likes, when she likes.

Last liter I had was over ten years ago and she was a terrier I put a whippet over her and she didn't eat that much until last couple weeks then she'd eat anything you give her ,a d they was always kibble down anyway, My problem with the bitch I got now was even with kibble down all day and raw meal in evening and breakfast she was still wanting more grub , she would eat until she's sick so I had to control how much she got ,last 3 weeksi i let eat as much as she wanted, she's done a grand job so far and I'm well chuffed because the liter is a really nice one , pups only week old yesterday and all gone mate apart from one that I'm keeping ,we had one lad drive down from Scotland and one from Cornwall to view pups , every one having a pup as said they a cracking liter and both parents are nice type and worth the 8 hour trip so that alone makes me feel good. Pups should become handy types and capable of taking most UK game , vermin ,my bitch a good type and so the stud ,my bitch got few years of work left in her before I retire her ,stud is 8 years so he's mostly retired now but I see him take good numbers of hares ,and munty when he was younger, Few pics

Because all the black ones look the same, even got same white toes and white flash on chest so makes it easy to know what pup is going to new owner, it's not something I've done in past but this liter only two fawn ones look different and I don't want someone picking a pup and it goes to some one else by mistake ,they look that much like each other it be easy mistake to make Edited 12 hours ago by Moocher71
