That took me by surprise.

Many years ago, my first pcp was a Rotex R8 with a large bottle made of steel and a 19'' barrel..........................what a load of utter shit, the so called reg was next to useless and it varied from 11fpe down to 9.3fpe sp it went and never would one of those ever return.  Well we should never say never because I wanted a pcp for a friend with a reasonable shots per fill as he has no air cylinder and some rats in the garden to get rid of so I borrowed a .177 compact which has a shots per fill of around  100  so should fit the requirement.  I set up zero in my garden usinhg the Tasco AO scope already on the gun and I had to eat my words as it was so bloody accurate, I admit it was only 15yds but I put all 8 H&N FTT pellets in the same hole which was about the same size as a .22 pellet.  It was still a heavy bugger but it would do the job.

I took the rifle to clear the rats but my friend was bloody useless and could not decide if he wanted to buy it so I brought it home again. I might pop out on the pigeon to give it a session before taking it back to the rfd.  Looks like they have sorted these guns out although I would not want to walk around with that weight.
