Lactic acid Build up in pup

Recommended Posts

From 10 weeks of age pups need free running. if they dont get it upto 6months they will never reach there potential as a running dog. Free running means just that and when hes had enough they stop and sleep. Pups usually drink a lot of water naturally balance things but that does not sound good. I would consider my options.

I thought lactic acid build up was caused by over exertion ? Cheers.

Maybe lower the protein in the grub ,the old tripe is good as not that high

Proper tripe is great for pups, blacky.

But only a few times a week.

Lol PROPER tripe is superb food for pups/dogs!! Lol 👍

I don't mean the 'tripe and chicken mince, or beef and tripe mince etc, you can buy from most pet food rip offs, I mean PROPER TRIPE.

I’ve seen it in running dogs, especially those “doubled muscled” non-peds. I owned one, extremely fast but suffered muscle cramps straight after a race, but haven’t seen it in a pup so young.

Cheers.

I've seen it in most of my dogs at some point some runs go to long after a hard day
