I suppose the trick is have all business owners owing on there business on the car on the house on the holiday on the wedding and if they attempt to walk into the bank and lodge cash to pay for something bang taxman at their door. I think if at all possible your as well keep the bank at arms length and live out of your pocket as much as possible it’s definitely cheaper

The dystopian view of this is that all money, wages, savings, benefits, etc you get will be held in a central bank digital currency.  Your spending will be controlled , you will have so many credits

All this has only been a thing for about 15 years, before 15 years ago you never heard ordinary people talk about “tax” and “money laundering”……everyone liked a bit of readies, it wasn’t frowned on, it was normal !

Then along came Cameron & Clegg, who remembers Nick Clegg all over the news repeating the phrase “The morality of tax” ?…….absolute f***ing nonsense !

I remember listening to The Moral Maze on radio 4 at the time when they discussed that very phrase…..there was an academic on there absolutely took them apart about what absolute nonsense it was.

One of the starkest examples of “If you repeat propaganda enough times it becomes true” …….its f***ing learned behaviour and it only took 15 years to plant it in everyone’s head !

Now, everyone is shit scared of a bit of cash…..it is what it looks like, control !
It’s the state once again thinking you work for it and it knows better than you how to spend your money and not letting you get above your station and be independent !
It allows them to abuse you any way they see fit, as we are seeing played out daily on our tv screens !

We live in a debt based system, they want everyone in debt and the more the merrier….thats how “money” is created !

The actual amount of real cash in the system is minuscule, like 2% of the economy or something !……why do you think they are building houses all over our beautiful nation ?, it’s not because of a “housing crisis”, it’s because mortgage debt is the way banks create money in the most secure way for them !!

They won’t lend to a business, too risky, but they will lend a dinner lady & a forklift driver £400,000 for a 3 bed semi ! ……you ask them for the mortgage, they type it into a machine and hey presto, they just wrote themselves a cheque for £800,000 by the time it’s paid back.

They create it out of nothing and you pay back, forever, in real money !
Government works the same, just exploiting the product of everyone’s Labour……in order to do it to maximum effect they need to track it, that’s why they have tried to turn everyone against cash…..and they have succeeded !

In no other service would you pay for the provider to f**k things up all the time and get worse every day, but that’s tax !

Cash isn’t debt !

I think one of the more interesting things of late is that lads like us have more in common with the likes of Micheal Foot (remember him ?) than we do any single person in the modern Conservative Party !

Historically, old Labour didn’t want to open up the nation to every  big corporate Tom, dick and Harry…they didn’t want supranational EU control.

I always loathed them so it’s a bit strange to look back and find so much common ground now.

Yeah i remember Michael Foot,Kinnock and them....must admit i never had much interest in politics back then and just booked anyone from Labour as complete idiots......obviously nowhere near the outright scum vermin of New Labour so yes i can see how they'd probably align much better to normal everyday folk in todays times fair point that.

Vietnam has a population of around 100,000,000.
So has 86% of the population had their accounts closed ?

Doubtful, as many children, peasants, etc won’t have bank accounts.

Are some of these closed accounts a bit dodgy ? Money laundering, etc ?

Cheers.

Bank accounts flushed, airports make biometrics mandatory

All signs suggest Vietnam will have to get used to biometrics and stronger digital authentication. The country has been working to tighten its digital payment regulations, and, according to VietnamNet, to “actively strengthen legal and institutional frameworks to support the development of cashless payments.” Part of this is purging the country of unverifiable bank accounts; as of June, it had pledged to close 86 million inactive bank accounts by September.

Moreover, starting December 1, biometric check-in will be mandatory at all airports across Vietnam, with exceptions for passengers with checked luggage and special assistance needs. The government promises “full-process biometric authentication using the VNeID platform at 100 percent of the nation’s airports by the end of October,” and the same for Hanoi’s railway station, and vehicle parking lots in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Yes mate, I read the article and what I got from it was they didn’t say you have to give your biometrics or we close your account.

It looked like they were closing dormant or dodgy accounts.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m dead set against central digital currency and banking, I think it’s too authoritarian and too open to abuse by a corrupt government.

Ive got a couple of dormant accounts, I keep meaning to close them, and for sure the banks will eventually contact me and say they have been suspended or closed.

Cheers.

It says “ they have pledged to close 82  million INACTIVE accounts”.
I don’t know mate, my wife’s cousin is married to a Vietnamese, I’ll be seeing them shortly, I’ll ask if she knows what’s going on 👍

Cheers.
