I say it how I see it , they is probably some lads that come on this forum that genuinely had a reason to dislike and distrust Plummer ,but what I was saying is a lot of folk jump on the bandwagon and they didn't even know him .

To me he was a good book writer,and by writing them books he got a lot of folk into lurchers ,terriers etc and he obviously did well out of it ,

Did he use other lads stories, from what I'm told he did ,was he a good field man from what I'm told he wasn't .

I didn't no the man personally ,Can I slag him ,call him a grass ? No i can not .

I've read his books ,and read what he thought of bull x owners etc and I couldn't care less ,

I've herd some say his kennels was disgusting and ferrets kept in really bad conditions,

As for him being a grass,that's a strong thing to say about someone ,did he grass you ? or was you told that by someone else?

now I didn't know him,I see him at couple of shows and for someone who wasn't ilked he had lads round him like flies to crap .

As for the type of dogs he bred  Plummer ,Lucas  do they really have to go to ground to be called workers ? Is a ratting terrier not a worker ? They a lot of lads ,lasses across UK ratting with terriers are they not working the dogs they keep or is it only fox dogs that are workers?

Same with lurchers ,a lot of lads work lurchers but don't go coursing so are they not working lurchers ? 

Like I say I didn't know him and I'm not going to put a man down because others do especially others that didn't know him but can quote his books word for word .

When a court calls for such people it's for expert forensics scientists to give their opinion on the evidence found etc or something along them lines,so did the court call him as a expert in hunting ? I'm not saying it's ok to go court and give evidence and it's something I'd be ever do but if he ain't gon to the police giving statements about someone but was called as a expert in that field it's totally different thing is it not ?
