BUT ... THIS PHONECALL WAS DIFFERENT ..... A FRIEND OF SNAREMANS WAS PACKING IN THE TRAPPING GAME DUE TO ILLNESS AND WAS SELLING A FEW TRAPS , BODYGRIPPERS 116 AND 110s OVER 60 IN NUMBER AS WELL AS A FEW DIFFERENT SIZED .......... AND A COUPLE OF DOZEN OF EACH FENN 4s AND 6s , ALL UNCARED FOR AND IN NEED OF SOME TLC , WELL OF COURSE AT THE PRICE I COULDNT REFUSE ,...... I BOUGHT THE LOT AND TRAVELLED UP TO PICK THEM UP .............. WHAT DID I FIND WHEN I GOT THERE ? ............ WELL THAT " GENT " SNAREMAN HAD GONE TO THE TROUBLE OF GETTING THEM SANDBLASTED AND SPRAYED ........ VAUXHALL LEAF GREEN OF COURSE ! ......... HELL THESE BABYS WERE NOW BRAND NEW !!! WHILE UP AT SNAREMANS ....... HE SHOWED ME " HIS " WAY OF WAXING THE TRAPS FOR A LONG LIFE OF FIREING OFF LIKE GREASE LIGHTENING ! ......... NO RUSTY TRAPS AT SNAREMANS CREAKING LIKE DOOR HINGES .......THE GUYS A PROFESSIONAL . ONCE AGAIN WE WENT FOR A WALK ........... TO FINE TUNE MY SNAREING .......... AS WELL AS PICK UP THE PEARLS WISDOM DROPPED BY HIM .......... ALL IN ALL ......... A MAN COULDNT WISH FOR BETTER TUITION JUST HOPE IAM A WORTHWHILE STUDENT ! CAME HOME ..... FULL OF THE JOYS OF LIFE ........... WHAT DID I FIND TODAY ? ............. A PARCEL . IN IT WAS A " LOAD " OF THE OLD TYPE RUBY SNARES FAVOURED BY THE OLD SCOTTISH RABBIT CATCHERS .......... AND VERY NICE THEY ARE TOO , YOU CAN JUST GET A FEEL FOR A GOOD WIRE .......... I LOOK FORWARD TO TRYING SOME OUT , THEN AT THE BOTTOM WAS A COUPLE OF BOTTLES OF SNAREMANS LURES ..... FOR MINK AND FOXES ............ IF THE REACTION OF THE DOGS IS OWT TO GO BY ......... THE SNARES WILL BE FULL THANKS ONCE AGAIN SNAREMAN YOUR A TRUE GENT HERES THE PHOTO OF A RUBY SNARE .......... Geordie. have any of you lads seen the rabbit snaring on you tube , what a load of rank amateurs , it would bring tears to a glass eye , and shop bought rabbit snares for sale on ebay, will they ever learn, they are as bad as bear grylls he was trying to snare rabbits with para cord , the loops were hanging like wind blown larches , and drunk men, and these are survival experts .
