mC seems to think the non-peds are the little, shivering roach back pedigree types, they are not, they are 100 years of breading the fastest whippets with the best greyhound blood to get a race dog that is phenomenal over the sprint distance. They are miniature greyhounds, and some not so miniature ! LOL !

I had a non- ped in the very early 70’s and it’s grand dam was a collie/grey;

For the last 50 or more years it’s been best to best and an influx of greyhound now and again to get the fastest dogs in the world over the sprint distance.

A coursing bred is bred for stamina, not out and out speed.
