If the pups well bred the pup should turn out a decent killer. Whether it be or not one of the best out there it will be doing what its bred for to put the kills in. Only credit your getting is for puttin stuff infront of it and abit of obedience training. So that's it. Good year and half of that. We've all done that. Lol. 1 1 Quote Link to post

They still be there mate, no rush like ye say, it’s far better to have a dog old enough to work for its first catch instead a dropping it infront of a pup, can do that with a squeaky teddy haha but you know where I am when it’s old enough, I got few spots we can let it hunt up, out stuff to ground sn them bolt it back to it haha that’s how I start my pups haha tho I may start subscribing to bangers way of doing it haha Quote Link to post

If owt a stone throw away from him penistone. Some land up there that's lifting with them to bring that young dog on. Boxed in stone walls some decent fields. Get up there lift a few up. Loads of places local. Just mc has decent land over east coast way permission. Ive ran alot of land over there. Ive ran alot of land near you too that's got plenty. But if your talking about dales he wants to stay away from there. Dogs like that too daft coursing bred dogs. But all depends what's in the mix of the breeding. I'm guessing Scotland abit of everything. 1 Quote Link to post

A want that dog to come straight back to my side back on slip. Dogs running around where it lost the kill hunting. And there's another in view far out on land sat tight. Until you're f***ing about trying to get dog back on lead then you see it pop up and f**k off lol. Quote Link to post

Pardus 1,610
I suppose now the way the game is walking with the dog off the slip hunting up is out of the question, as I walking up and down the fields, as it's been said on here, stick to the edges with a thermal and Bob's your uncle.
