Franks dad 1,488
One of the hobs got out other day , didn’t get far …keep a live trap set for this reason … twat bust out again Friday … another twat forgot to reset the trap … was found a mile and a half away by a lady jogger … didn’t know what it was but could see he was going to get squished by a car, so grabbed a recycling bag from a garden .. held it open and he jumped in , she jogged home ( which is 5 mins walk from me ) amd put it in a cat crate…. Luckily missus uses Facebook and we were reunited… she say he wouldn’t eat the apple but had some water off a spoon … she became quite attached …I told her she was quite brave … if she’d known it was a ferret she probably wouldn’t have touched it, then showed her his teeth, he’s a big lad lol … all bolts are now upgraded…. He ain’t getting out now .. 4 4 Quote Link to post
mushroom 13,720
I used to have a hob called Steve McQueen! That cnut was the epitome of the great escape Neighbour once called round asking me to rescue his Neo mastiff from the nob head lol Steve must’ve nailed him and the dog a dozen times each and still wanted more. I walked into the garden, made the kissing sound and he came bouncing up to me like a puppy, doing his war dance and singing like they do. Neighbour couldn’t understand how he went from devil to kitten in less than a second. I still miss that little cnut 1 3 Quote Link to post
Luckee legs 523
Great you got him back. I do find my hobs that are still entire are a pain in the arse. Doesn't make a difference if vasectomized they seem to be desperate to get out in the summer long after Jill's are mated. I've had them Godzilla their way out shaking a door so hard the bolt slipped and even had one dig out through the roof of a hutch so you are not the only one Currently I have one hob with three bolts on his door and another with a bolt and a sledgehammer propped against it 1 Quote Link to post
Aussie Whip 4,277
I had a one eyed albino hob named Magoo, a huge ferret and evil, hand raised with his litter mates who were all good natured. He constantly attacked the dogs around warrens so I decided he needed to go but he escaped and was attacking the lady at the local shop's chickens. She tried to kill him with a shovel but he managed to get up the handle and ripped her wrist badly requiring many stitches. He ended up escaping her and as far as I know is still lurking out there somewhere, lol. 1 Quote Link to post
