Hik Alex lrf 4k

Recommended Posts

Hi all

New vision I bought the hik allex 4k lrf

i’m having trouble using/setting up the ballistic calculator. I’ve input the data zeroed in at 30 yard on a 22LR hitting a target bull’s-eye area within the size of a £.50 piece I can do the same at 40 yards when I go to 80 to 100 yards to check the LRF. It keeps showing the second crosshair higher than the original crosshair and when I shoot at the target it is a foot below consistently so I allowed about a foot above and hit the target. I’m not sure what I’ve set up wrong I remove the site tried it on the HMR exactly the same I’m sure I’ve done everything on the guide but the only bit I don’t understand and I can’t find any information on is the numbering when programming the ballistics so you get ABC

I choose  A for 22  and then there’s a number 123 that I your asked to put in after that on the ballistic calculator no clue what is the correct number? I can’t find any info on it is that causing the ballistic calculation to be a foot low or is there something else I’m doing completely wrong any ideas or any info would be appreciated

cheers

I was going to buy the lite version over Christmas while they were £499 for the lrf version,  needed for customers to pay up though so had to hang fire, gone to buy one today and everyone have put the price back up a hundred quid,  so will have to wait till the shooting show deals now , I did have a struggle setting up my big 4k but got it sorted with some help.
