MR TEA POT 1,287
Took two ferrets,10 nets and two stop nets thought i will have a wonder about. A nice morning to be out This was the hedge i started with. The 2 stop nets ready and waiting. It was nets down and ferrets in a bit of a wait when wham 1 in the net. Cleanly dispatched, net set ready for another.Abit more thumping and a rabbit popped out the hedge sat looking at me for a bit then ran straight in to the stop net. Now to you seasoned longnet and stop net ferreters, you have probable seen this a 1000 times.I have been using these stop nets since september, and the rabbits have either gone round the net or hit the net and not tangled,so this is the first rabbit i have caught in my stop nets, needless to say i was over the moon . Another rabbit bolted in to a purse net,so i decided to call it a day the sun was coming up and it was getting a bit warm. This is my new ferreting partner,he followed me about most of the morning, very quite not much good at setting nets but at the end of the season i can eat him . End of day pics. My patterdale wanted to get on the hunting life . Quote Link to post
