Once whilst round a mates house, we would only be around 10yrs old, we had made a spear with a brush handle and an old knife, a couple of doors down were another couple of lads who we went to school with. We somehow ended up chucking this spear at each other over the two gardens, Eventually the inevitable happened and it landed in the thigh of one of the other lads.

Another time we were down the canal, i had just got one of those new kind of red dot scopes and put it on my airsporter. i decided to fire at a clump of muck on the far bank to see where i needed to adjust it. About 10yrds away 2 lads were sitting on a fence, Yep first shot hit one of them straight in the knee cap.

I've been shot by one of those when I was a kid. Holding a jam lid above my head as a target.  How thick is that? Hit me right in the soft part of the thumb. A and E job. I've still got a scar on my thumb and a weird looking thumb nail

One of my other brothers has a  blue line right up his arm where he was hit with a stray slug from the same gun. Kids and gun safety eh? lol

I used to catch a lot of salmon as a school kid, always a ready market for it,I saved my cash under a floorboard in my bedroom.I bought a folding pedretti .410 for roosting pheasants, when I first got it I was messing around in my bedroom with it when BANG into the floorboards inches from my foot,I sometimes remember that as it really shook me up at the time, kids and gun safety.
