Found this stuff growing on a little stream that cut across a newish forestry track. At first I thought I had found some water cress which I have never seen before. But looking at pics on google that looks to not be the case :(

Yea its crystal clear run of water. Its below some sheep fields though and apparently don't eat raw due to liver fluke ? Might be wrong. Never seen it before and alls fancied trying it. Will have to do a bit more research

It is water cress, When i was a kid the local sewerage farm purified its treated water by pumping it into a top lagoon full of the stuff, it would then trickle down 3 further lagoons full of water cress before eventually entering the river, We called it the Grass Plots. Incredible place for wildlife but then they installed tower sand filters and sold the land for building.
