No wonder todays kids have got problems. They are fed a diet of cartoons and computer games. I don't think they can think straight. Exercise is completely foreign to them. I feel sorry for them, they are bedroom bound.

Julia Donaldson books are specifically made with rhyming couplets to enable kids to memorise and speak phonetically to increase word retention . 

smeds and the smoos, gruffalo , room on the broom , etc all essential bed time reading for younger kids imho
