How much did you pay for it? If you don't mind me asking! The only reason is that I thought they were £xpensive. Cheers! Quote Link to post
AIRGUNNER 1
you can pick up a Bushnell laser bore sighter for around £30 to £50 depending where you buy it from Edited January 25, 2008 by AIRGUNNER Quote Link to post
AIRGUNNER 1
This might be of some help http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BUSHNELL-Laser-Bore-...7QQcmdZViewItem Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
If you have £30-£50 to spare as has been suggested (some cost a lot more) then they are certainly not going to do any harm. I run air rifles, rimfires and centrefires and I suggest bore sighters are best suited for centrefires, however, even with the daft price of some centrefire ammo, £1 plus per round in many cases, I still find I can bore sight by eye and then simply use a couple of rounds to bring it right in. I struggle to see there can be much use for a bore sighter on a 12 ft lb air rifle, and you have to finish with pellets to be sure anyway......simply down to individual choice though!!! Personally I think a £50 session down the pub would be a far better use of the money! Cheers (hic!) Deker Quote Link to post

Deker Boresighting by eye is done much quicker, with less time spent fiddling with the boresighter, personally i'd pass on one, i can normally get the rifle on target in about 5 shots, save your money for ammo......
