The air nail guns only ever second fix mate .To my knowledge they won’t drive bigger than 40mm wire nails .First fix battery guns do 90mm ring nails .Horses for courses but the noise of compressors does my head in .

The battery guns just won't take the stick that the pneumatic guns will, we've guns that fire up to 6 inch nails.

Right, lads; Typical THL thread then. Ask the price of a jar of jam and end up reading a discussion of Tibetan politics.

Anyway, I might have mentioned, elsewhere, I was fighting a chemical imbalance? Sorted. Thinking like Socrates now! :D

I've bought the Makita (Fukk, Yeah!!! :icon_eek:) Now, I want the Hyundai comp.

My only question is: The gun ~ as far as I can make out? Has a 1/4" BSP male fitting?

The comp offers a 6.5mm Euro.

What hose / connector(s) would I need, please? Amazon link would be great, obviously! I need to buy one for when the gun and comp arrive :)

Thanks.

The gas ain't cheap either. Used a few different ones and they're bob on.

Im yet to see a battery second fix nail gun that can take the stick of a pneumatic gun, no doubt they're some tool for site work but in a factory environment where you could be firing 5 or 6 thousand nails a day every day they just can't hack it, we tried paslode, dewalt and milwaukee and although they have their uses theyre not worth a wank for heavy use.

Any half decent builders supplies will have all the fittings you need Ken.

Cheers, Don!

I rang my local, the other day. 'Got any nail guns?' No.

Rung 'em back later: 'Got any compressors?' No.

I did think I could ring them about couplings ..... But ...

I try So hard to shop locally. But, when they just keep sucking their teeth and shaking their fukking heads. I'm throwing £100's at Amazon, all the fukking time here! About to buy a £100 filter, for my frog ? I'd much rather keep the lad, in town, in a job. But ...

A basic set like that should have everything you need for compressor, hose and gun Ken.

No battery or mains will take the stick of pneumatic, I know that. Clarke pneumatic drills outlived ryobi and makita but for home/site or anything non production then pneumatic isn't necessary imo. Alot will not give the pneumatic the care/maintenance required

:icon_eek: Look at that fukking compressor!!! Seven HP!!! Ye could nail the fukking moon with that!!!

you’d need 3 phase for a compressor that size mine in shed about the biggest for 240v mains it’s only a 3 hp
