Try a gentle roast, either jointed or whole, few herds and spices and a bit of butter.

 

Dead easy.. BUT... only works with the young ones, ideally a female at the end of her first year. If you get a real big one and it turns out to be male and 3 or 4 years old then marinate it and stew/caserole..or throw it away, it will be as tuff as old boots.

 

Gradually get more adventureous, add a bit of bacon, make your own stock..just try things, but rabbit wise you will soon get to know what will eat well and what is fit for the cat! (or Fox bait)
