Guest bigredbusa
start it easy with a casserole , get yourself a slow cooker bung in fav veg , stock , rabbit , maybe a casserole mix aswell . switch on and go to work , come back and enjoy
Deker 3,491
Try a gentle roast, either jointed or whole, few herds and spices and a bit of butter. Dead easy.. BUT... only works with the young ones, ideally a female at the end of her first year. If you get a real big one and it turns out to be male and 3 or 4 years old then marinate it and stew/caserole..or throw it away, it will be as tuff as old boots. Gradually get more adventureous, add a bit of bacon, make your own stock..just try things, but rabbit wise you will soon get to know what will eat well and what is fit for the cat! masmiffy 82
Try half grown bunnies in the summer on the barbie. Marinade for a couple of hours wrap in foil, saves burning the flesh, cook and enjoy!
