Keeps 403
We arranged to go out ferreting with a friend who has Lily's sister yesterday. We havent seen her since September so when he rang to ask if we wanted to see her I thought it might be nice to bring her along on a ferreting trip, as she has been broken to ferrets (more than can be said for some). Best laid plans and all that, after Saturday's lovely weather it was pouring down Sunday morning when we set off nice and early. We couldnt see the hills or any of the surrounding countryside when we arrived, which was a bit of a shame for our visitor, but it cleared out a bit by the end of the day, never stopped raining though. I didnt manage to get any action pics with the weather conditions - it was one of the wettest days we have been out but Indie back after his injury was on form and nuala didnt do so bad either Pup was very in tune with what was going on considering she hasnt been before a happy dog Not forgetting the ferret and 3 well behaved terriers theres a story to tell.... Unfortunately Bear, who has been really steady out ferreting with us got hold of one of the ferrets as if it was a rat, we managed to rescue the ferret, and hopefully she will be alright but that is the last time he will be coming ferreting with us a realtree realtree end of day, we didnt do bad considering the weather homeward bound Edited January 21, 2008 by Keeps Quote Link to post
