neil82 1,088 Posted January 13, 2021 Report Share Posted January 13, 2021 you two must be a couple of retired dinosaurs, 40 minutes for grub to appear on a plate is ok for the weekend but in the week when working I want grub on the plate sharpish when I get home, the slow cooker is ideal for that, bit of prep the night before and just switch on as I leave for work, get home and food is done, some of the most leathery, tough old (ancient) bits of animal come out well after a long bath with a few herbs or spices and some red wine 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
