Hi

I have a 12 bore 3 3/4 tons per sq inch and use a 36g No. 4 for foxes, hell I also use these to dispatch Magpies (Got one this morning at 50 metres with this cartridge).

I have 28g, 7 1/2 cartridges and have'nt killed anything yet with them.

I would be inclined not to use anything lighter than 4's for foxes.

The shot size shouldnt matter as such, as long as the pressure generated by the particular cartridge does not exceed that to which the barrel has been proofed.

Cheers all i can find on the barrel is it says 900kg is that the max. pressure it can take? thanks for the help

BBs are a good cartridge for foxes , the main point is try not to shoot at foxes at range only wounding them , make sure they are close enough for a clean kill :D

do these cartridges come in 70mm, if so could my gun shoot them?
