SNAP SHOT 194
i think about 1/4 inch you will not be far away, from what i can remember........... Quote Link to post
Deker 3,453
CCI rate their 17g .1 and .2 inches high at 50 yards and their 20g .3 inches high at 50 yards for a 100yard zero. www.cci-ammunition.com So SNAP SHOT has a very close mean average! Quote Link to post
brno17 5
if you zero bang on at 35yds your secondary zero will be somewhere around 125yds with only 0.9 inches of rise in between. so out to 125yds you can really aim bang on. alan. p.s. this applies to 17gr heads only. Deker 3,453
if you zero bang on at 35yds your secondary zero will be somewhere around 125yds with only 0.9 inches of rise in between. so out to 125yds you can really aim bang on. alan. p.s. this applies to 17gr heads only. Good point and good idea..depends on individual scope mounting height as well. Always a good idea to remember this one but it works best the other way round (so when the weather improves check it out)...ie primary zero at say 100 yards (whatever you want), and then check and note where your first zero occurs. Once you have done this and as long as you do not change ammo, scope, moderator, etc you can theoretically alway set your 100 yard zero at the much shorter distance. I use this system for all my guns from air rifles to centrefires, very useful....... but now everyone knows a little zeroing trick! Quote Link to post
