cragman 2,635
Dropped onto a spot I was at last week when I shot a lone vixen. It’s only a smallish field but it’s safe shooting and it produces foxes constantly from surrounding woods and land. Nothing after 30 mins squeaking then I the flicked the lamp on and there was two sets of eyes, obviously a pair and very close together. They hadn’t come to the squeak, they weren’t interested. They didn’t seem too mithered by me shining the lamp, they had other things on their mind. Both disappeared for 5 mins then reappeared from out of some brambles. Whack! 75 yards. The vixen dropped and her mate left the scene. He did return briefly after 10 mins looking for her but didn’t show much after that. .22 Hornet again 9 Quote Link to post
