I was told once by a respected football chap that the Banks save from Pele probably wouldnt have been possible in todays game due to the fact keepers are so tall and Banks at under 6 ft had the foot speed to cover the ground quick enough to keep the header out. Would he be regarded as the greatest keeper ever had we not won the world cup im not sure but the olduns regard him as a very good keeper of his day thats good enough for me.
