bird 10,014 Posted January 25, 2019 Report Share Posted January 25, 2019 wonder if this be vacant long ? , i know you get use of a motor, and place to live either house , or rented flat , just wonder what the money would be like, as you still got to run the place = oil. electric , food , and not sure about the c/tax , as i used know a keeper got the house/motor , but at to pay the rest up front from his wage, which was about minimum/wage . this was just pheasant/partridge shoot . Councilestatekid 2,130 Posted January 25, 2019 Report Share Posted January 25, 2019 When I was on a estate up Scotland I got the house council tax £750 for gas phone line paid(stuck internet on it).all wood for fire water off the hill and a clothing allowance money wasn't great £1400 a month but really it was just food and spending money so worked out great triple garage workshop and acres of land to go at.i wasn't a keeper but used to go out with the keepers help on farm etc be a great lifestyle for someone 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
