Russian ovchaka x greyhound

Recommended Posts

Has any one yet considered putting a bit of Russian ovchaka ( Russian bear dog ) to a greyhound or lurcher type.

Every one into bull x to get the hardness the Russian ovchaka ment to be the ultimate guard/protection/loyalty/aggressive dog

I know it's a bit on the big side but will we see this bred into some dogs over the next few years.

Not saying a big 1st cross but eventually bred down a little could it add anything ?

Let the sh*t begin ?

Lol like you say mate, a tad overkill for a few bunnies lol. Would think it'd take a couple of generations to get the size down.

But what the f**k do I know, I've just been singing englebert humperdick tracks!

out of all the big breeds out there today, the kangal  the most healthiest , dont have the same amount of probs HD, elbow, etc there the best. They   fight them them as well to test for courage , and speed/agilty  , they want a fit strong dog  for there job protecting  the sheep from wolves , etc  , but the breed getting to popular and some temps and  health not as good, so you have to look for the proper working lines there , my mate mrs is from turkey , and told me the ones that worked up in the mountains , are not dogs to mess with, big dangerous  animals  ,  we got enough with what we got over here  with what xs we use ,  plenty of good lurcherx lurcher   doing the jobs there bred for, there a old saying ( if it aint  broke  dont fix it  )
