Couple of hours with the nitesite

Recommended Posts

I hate those screens, my mate came out with me one and he had one, I could see his face half a field away ! He only used it once more after borrowing my n550,

I wouldn't touch the photon either, I tried one and hated it.

I,d love thermal but, its a lot of pennies for it to be used every now and again

Agreed, mega money even when you use them regularly, but I was referring to a n550 pulsar night vision unit, can be had for Ito £400

I do have thermal and love it, but took some soul searching to take the plunge

Excuse my ignorance matey, but what are the main differences between the n550 and the photon rt.., in guessing the n550 is night vision and not thermal?

Good shooting Phil :good:

i actually like NS - I've been using a Viper for around 4yrs.

I find a cap and veil is a must because of the screen - I've found that using mine on full power to scan for rabbits then, turning it down and using the edge of the screen to stalk in works quite well.

With the kit set up on a full length HW100, A shooting stick comes in very handy.

Which ever way you go - Enjoy it mate

Hi Jon, i have been using Nite  site Nv since the NS200 first came out

and currently use a NS-wolf & a NS-viper  i have no problem with the heads up position as

i shoot off primos tripod shooting sticks and  and most of my rabbits are shot from ambush,

i keep screen brightness as low as possible and enjoy using the nite site  NV units,

i also use photon XT6.5 ,pulsar N750, X-sight3x12x44, as NV is a hobby of mine.

I'm just undecided at the moment wether to stay with the nitesite viper or go over to the photon...
