Lamp_Shy 21
I bought one of these: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152672178766 Works for 243 and 308. Does what it says on the tin. 1 Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
I've used Sightmark. Cheap and cheerful and that's all I reckon you need because you're getting it on to paper. The real meat and potatoes come in the fine-tuning and that's you and the scope. Quote Link to post
Meece 1,957
I got one but when I set up the 223 scope the actual group was in a different place. Now when I changed bullets the group the group moved to a different place. SO it will get you somewhere near but each bullet type will have different characteristics which will need fine tuning. I visually boresighted my 22rf and set up the crosshairs and it was the same procedure with that. Thus a bore sighted won't automatically Zero a barrel.
