have you seen his ali g interview.he's cool as f**k.

and d dimbeldy trying to make him look like a fool by bringing up where he was educated and he replied ''yes i went to the same school as your son''

The man is a living encyclopaedia! I think it's great when an interviewer tries to outsmart him and he responds with a cutting and factual retort, delivered with a totally controlled and unflappable attitude.

I found it great listening to him school Ken Clarke on Brexit. There's another good one where some popular interviewer fella is really giving him a hard time about someone's comment that the Gov' is a "shambles" and Mogg says something like "To describe our government as a open air slaughterhouse is... blah blah blah". The interviewer smelt blood and went it with a smug cheap shot "I didn't say slaughterhouse Jacob, I said shambles you need to listen". Having fallen for Mogg's trap he replied with a grin "No no no, a shambles literally means open slaughterhouse David, I thought you would have known that....".

I'm increasingly a fan of Jacob.....

Everything he says is clear, concise, well put and I love that calm, unflappable manner he has !

Edited to add.......I forgot one other thing about him - the distinct lack of bull5hit !

I assume May is back from holiday then. If she has to overrule everything bignose Hammond says or does, she might as well give him the elbow.

He could always go back to his old job - owner of a haunted art gallery in an episode of Scooby-Doo !

A bit different to Farage's bold, passionate and emotive flavour isn't it? Not saying there's anything wrong with that, just two different types of tactician.

Farage is a front man, a big personality that wins hearts through passionate appeal. I don't think Mogg could ever fill that sort of position, he's far too cool and collected. he's the sort that a big personality like Farage has as his quiet but popular trump card.

Problem with all this sort of people though is that they are too masculine (not in the burly skin head fighter sense!), they just don't appeal to the female vote.

What a team they would make !

In a way, there two sides of the same coin. Mr Rabble-rouser and Mr Quiet Confidence......but, both with an unshakeable belief in themselves.
