Question About Samsung Tablets

Recommended Posts

Ok guys i know pretty much nothing about computers. In fact dont even own one lol

I bought a 8g tablet few years ago.Dont download anything or even watch movies on it.I just use it for Amazon, now tv , youtube and here.

anyway im getting messages about running out of space. I click on the link and it shows things i can delete to free up space, but when i do it warns me deleting this could affect the running of my tablet. Ive emptied cach deleted all the shit pics, history etc.still get the message everyday. Now it won't update things cause of lack of space.

Now if i bought a SD card and stuck it in will this help and will it do it automatically? Cause if i have to transfer stuff to it im pretty much f****d cause i said my knowledge of this is pretty much zero! Any advice be greatly appreciated. Been looking and can get an sd card tomorrowfrom argos do they all fit or do i need a specific one? Only reason i know about SD cards btw is cause it says it on the message lol

Any brand micro sd card will do the job but go for SanDisk or samsung or a reputable brand like that...can pick up a 64gb one for a pretty decent price in most places but it does depend on what maximum size card your tablet can take as to what size you should buy. Anything you want to put on it though will have to be done manually. How much free space is it saying you have on the tablet now you've deleted stuff? Any chance you can post a link of the exact tablet you own?

8gb is plenty for regular use, in an older model. Put the card in the slot and it should take care of itself, and give you options to move storage onto the card.

When you say "running out of space", are you running out of storage space or RAM ?

Download something like Supercleaner, to free up loads of RAM........
